  1. MY 743B is a diesel. And it was made that way at the factory. My dealer, who I have known for over 40 years and who was the first dealer in this area says very few propane 743B’s were made. Maybe you should check your information better. My 743B has over 5000 hours with very little trouble and has at times been severely abused in tornado and derecho emergency cleanup and logging operations. I gave 7500 for it 11 years ago and haven’t regretted it once..
